During the summer months our fishing charter departs from Port Renfrew, just a quick drive from Sooke, located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island. From the time you step aboard you realize that you are in for a very special west coast Canadian fishing adventure that will appeal to both the novice and well seasoned game fisherman.

March - May
We target the Pacific Halibut in the waters of Sooke and Victoria. These monsters move in from their offshore spawning grounds to feed during the summer months. We search the rocky pinnacles and sandy flats for these large fish which can reach sizes in excess of 200 pounds! Don't
forget the excellent crabbing during these months as well.

May -
September
We move to Port Renfrew, a
world-class fishing hotspot. Over 50 miles of coastline
hides hundreds of
fishing hotspots in this area. Weather permitting, we take our adventure
offshore to the waters of Swiftsure Bank which hold Halibut and migrating
salmon.

September - November
Our target species change to the giant San Juan Coho salmon. These mature fish are caught on light tackle and even fly fishing rods. Nothing is more memorable then a Coho salmon tail-walking at sunrise!

November - March
We enjoy the simple winter-fishery for feeder chinook salmon. These resident fish provide steady action in the sheltered bays all along the coastal area from Sooke to Victoria. Prawning and Crabbing is available on request.
